Opacity

Is what most organizations seem to strive for. Whether the organization is a g.o. (government organization) that tries to classify information that belongs to the people, whether it's a corporate entity that hides behind "trade secrets", or whether it's an n.g.o. (non-governmental organization) that refuses to publish their complete financial statements, there are few, if any, organizations that embrace transparency. Transparency is just a new catch phrase describing an ancient trait: Honesty. The reason that there are so few honest organizations in the world is simple.
